Cdamata - UX Design for a Sustainable Handmade E-commerce
Cdamata is a Brazilian e-commerce brand offering handcrafted wooden home goods, combining beauty, function, and low environmental impact. I redesigned the site to reflect its sustainable values through a minimalist, product-focused interface that works seamlessly across devices. The build was implemented in WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce.
Problem / Challenge
The previous site:
Lacked visual cohesion and brand storytelling
Had unclear navigation and poor mobile usability
Didn’t showcase the craftsmanship or eco-friendly ethos of the products
The goal was to create a clean, intuitive, and visually aligned experience that put products and brand values front and center.
Research: Analyzed competitor sites and reviewed Cdamata’s brand assets
Design: Created a minimalist, responsive interface emphasizing imagery and readability
Build: Implemented the final design in WordPress, Elementor, and WooCommerce
Outcome
The redesign:
Put handcrafted products at the forefront
Created a cleaner, more modern visual identity
Improved mobile usability and navigation
Strengthened alignment with Cdamata’s sustainable brand message
